The Kings Canyon High Basin Route is encompassed entirely within Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park in California’s High Sierra. The full route goes 124 miles between Lodgepole and Road’s End, using the Twin Lakes and Copper Creek Trailheads.

Section-hikes are possible, too, via other trailheads on both the east and west side of the range. Nine section-hikes are detailed in the Kings Canyon High Basin Route Guide, with many more itineraries possible.
