Update: Order fulfillment

Digital products are available for immediate download.

Physical products normally ship within one day, M-Sat, except for the dates listed below, during which no products will be shipped:

  • June 13-July 2
  • July 11-27
  • September 6-18

Update: Customer service

I normally respond to customer inquiries within one business day, with the exception of the dates listed above, during which I will not be responding to customer inquiries.

International customers

International customers can purchase downloadable products, like guides. But I no longer ship outside the US, sorry: the cost is prohibitive; the process is time-consuming; and the delivery times are long, even for Priority packages. I may make exceptions for large orders. Contact me if you have one.

Domestic shipping

Free domestic shipping for orders of $50+. All other domestic orders, $3.50 flat rate. The Gear Guide is shipped via USPS Media Mail.

Returns: Physical products

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-­refundable.

Returns: Digital products

You have 15 calendar days to request a refund for a digital product purchase.

To be eligible for a return, you must have experienced a delivery problem or a download issue, or must send a written explanation why the product is not satisfactory and/or is not accurately described on the website. We reserve the right to deny refund requests if explanations are unsatisfactory.

Refunds

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
