The Coast HL27 is my go-to headlamp for trail running, hiking off-trail, and bike-commuting in the dark. It is very bright, with a max output of 330 lumens, and has two features that I particularly adore:
- A dimming wheel that allows for very fast brightness adjustments, and
- An adjustable bezel that magnifies the beam as a spot or flood when rotated.
