Here is how we do food:

- You bring your own daytime food.
Our breakfasts and dinners are hearty yet simple. By supplying them, it saves you preparation time and avoids the risk that you’ll be disappointed by your culinary competence. During the day, you can eat what you want.
How much daytime food should you bring?
For a specific range of calories and food weight for 3-, 5-, and 7-day trips, refer to this spreadsheet.
Use the Low End recommendation if you’re older, female, have a small frame, and/or are on a lower intensity trip. Use the High End number if you’re younger, male, bigger bodied, and/or on a higher intensity trip.
Unless you know your eating habits, you are discouraged to deviate from the recommended ranges, which are based on over 80 trips and nearly 500 clients.
