Pre-Alaska water cooler conversation with a co-worker

    I would be a very rich man if I had a nickel for every time a frantic co-worker tried to explain that there are bears outside that will kill me.

    Ha… With some folks experimenting with polycro tarps the trashbag comment isn’t far off 😉

    I need to find a short hike to throw my coleman stove in just to mess with people 😀

    I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the bear thing in the Catskills of NY…been hiking, camping, and backpacking there for 11 years and I’ve never seen a bear.
