Lake Josephine
Glacier National Park, Montana

A short hike from Many Glacier, Lake Josephine is one of 130 named lakes in Glacier National Park, though indeed one of the more impressive, partly thanks to the towering Mt. Gould, which rises more than a vertical mile above the lake. I captured this photo early on an August morning while heading south on the Continental Divide Trail towards Piegan Pass.
